One single was strong enough to help TeeFLii (pronounced “tee-fly”) land a record deal with Sha Money and LA Reid at Epic Records. The L.A. bred artist's buzzing ratchet song "This D," was a west coast regional hit record produced by DJ Mustard. The bluntness and shock value are reminiscent of Akinyele's "Put It in Your Mouth," which grew to become a mainstay in clubs. TeeFLii has no interest in being a stereotypical R&B artist singing typical romantic ballads; he is making songs for the fellas.
Prior to signing his new contract, TeeFLii released three mixtapes: 'AnnieRUO’TAY', 'AnnieRUO’TAY 2' and 'Fireworks'.
He joins Epic Records' growing artist roster that includes Curtis Fields, Casey Veggies, Kat Dahlia, NYLO, and Quadron.
