In his first single "Janet," Jermaine Crawford, who is best known for his role as "Dukie" on HBO's "The Wire," shines the light on his musicality and vocal ability. Crawford tells the story of losing a love and the devastating feeling that accompanies such an event. Rain usually follows things that are distressful, and Crawford uses water falling from the sky to express how effected he really is.
"Janet" is the first offering from Crawford's upcoming debut project "Underdog," set to drop on October 9th. The track will also be featured in Robert Townsend's new movie "Playin For Love."
