Cuban-American singer-songwriter Kat Dahlia hit the scene hard with her raw, autobiographical song “Gangsta” earlier this year, and now the Miami-born protégé of famed music industry executive Sylvia Rhone is prepping a fall east coast tour and a 5-song EP titled Seeds (Sept. 30), which will precede her debut album My Garden.
Seeds will feature the previously released “Gangsta” and “Clocks,” along with the tunes “Mirror,” “Money Party” ft. Polly A., and “Rainbow” produced by Illangelo (Drake, The Weeknd).
In support of Seeds, Kat Dahlia will set out on a 9-date tour along the east coast. Beginning on October 8 in New York City, the 23-year-old will perform at Webster Hall and wrap up on October 20 at Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. For tickets, click here.
Her LP My Garden is scheduled to be released in early 2014 on Vested in Culture/Epic Records.
