Demi Lovato Inks Book Deal, Readies Memoir Ahead of ‘X Factor’ Premiere

Demi Lovato can add the title author to her resume. According to Billboard, the "X Factor USA" judge/mentor and recording artist has inked a deal to release two literary efforts, including a memoir with Feiwel and Friends, an imprint of Macmillan.

Lovato's first effort will be Twitter based, featuring tweets that she has written about her life. The second will be a memoir detailing her life story 'thus far,' including struggles with drug addition and fame.

It's unclear when fans will be able to get their hands on the memoir, but the Twitter based book, titled "Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year," is due for release this November.

As previously reported, Lovato will appear as a judge and mentor on season three of "X Factor USA" (FOX), which premieres tonight, Wednesday, September 11 at 8 p.m. on FOX.
