Ariana Grande has scored the top spot on this week's album chart, not only selling well, but exceeding expectations and projections.
Her debut album, "Yours Truly," sold over 135,000 copies according to HDD, well over the 110k-120k projected last week.
Led by the single "The Way," "Yours Truly" features fan favorites like "Honeymoon Avenue," "You'll Never Know" and "Baby I."
Following Ariana Grande, Tamar Braxton's album, "Love and War" debuted strong as well, arriving at no.2. Featuring "All The Way Home" and "The One," Braxton's album moved 117,000 copies.
Official Billboard 200 and R&B chart figures will be released later today.
