Candice Glover has hit the road, touring with fellow "American Idol" favorites Burnell Taylor, Angie Miller, Amber Holcomb and Curtis Finch Jr. While she's enjoying her time on the road, meeting fans and performing, she's also trying out music that might just appear on her debut album, "Music Speaks."
First up for Glover is a song titled "In the Middle." While it's not a single, it has some power behind it and it was actually co-written by fellow "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino.
"I knew I could do a new song on tour and I chose ‘In the Middle’ because it’s fun and reminds me of summertime and being in love and having these good feelings when you’re with this guy," Glover shared in a recent interview. "I love singing about being in love and this is the perfect song about that. It reminds you of going to the beach with your friends.”
According to Glover, "In The Middle" will appear on her forthcoming album, "Music Speaks," which is due for release this Fall. Rob Kleiner and Reg Styles also wrote the song.
