Lawsuit Over W.i.P Nightclub Chris Brown/Drake Brawl Dismissed By Judge

The lawsuit filed by Entertainment Enterprises for the 2012 W.i.P night club brawl between the entourages of Chris Brown and Drake (allegedly over pop princess Rihanna) has been dismissed by a Manhattan judge.

The company (who’s behind the Greenhouse nightclub, which is next door to the W.i.P club where the glass-flinging fight took place) was seeking $16 million in damages from both entertainers, claiming the fight brought down their reputation from bad publicity.

TMZ reports that the suit was thrown out by the magistrate because (1) the fight didn’t take place on Greenhouse’s property, and (2), scuffles at bars/nightclubs are common, so it would be silly to sue every time a ruckus took place.

Many people were injured in the melee which took place on June 14, 2012, including Brown’s bodyguard and basketball star Tony Parker who asked for $20 million for eye laceration injuries.
