The film is Tyler Perry's latest effort, following a married woman that ends up being tempted into an unhealthy relationship with a wealthy social media businessman.
According to Nielsen, the movie also debuted strong on the Blu-ray disc chart, coming in at no.4.
"Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" earned $52 million in U.S. theaters earlier this year.
