by It's been a while since Mya released an album in the States, 6 years to be exact, but that doesn't mean she hasn't been keeping busy. In 2008, she dropped 'Sugar & Spice,' then followed up in 2011 with 'K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy & Simple', both released in Japan via Manhattan records.
Now, Mya is readying a new project and it seems like U.S. fans will get a bite of this one. "I'm in the studio working on my next album," Mya told Clevver Music. "The album will come out when it's properly supported…it's in its final stages."
She also adds that a new single may arrive this fall insisting, "possibly late August/September."
In related news, Mya also has a film coming our way soon as she states, "I just wrapped up my first action film." Due to contract obligations, she is remaining tight lip on the project so we will have to wait and see what it is about.
