Robin Thicke has another no.1 position in his hands.
According to Billboard, Thicke's breakthrough single, "Blurred Lines," has reached the summit on the Pop Songs chart.
"Robin Thicke blasts 4-1 on Billboard's Nielsen BDS-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart with "Blurred Lines," featuring T.I. and Pharrell, the chart's Greatest Gainer. The leap is the largest to the top since Iyaz also jumped 4-1 with his first leader, "Replay" (Dec. 26, 2009). Reaching the summit in its eighth week, "Lines" ties Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors" for the fastest flight to No. 1 this year," reports Billboard.
"Blurred Lines" is the first format No. 1 for Thicke, who peaked at No. 27 in his sole prior appearance with "Lost WIthout U" in 2007. ("Lost" spent 15 weeks atop Adult R&B.)"
Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" is also no.1 on the R&B Songs and Hot 100 charts.
