India Arie’s ‘SongVersation’ Debuts In Top 4, Kelly Rowland Slides on R&B Albums Chart

India Arie has another top 10 charting effort to her credit thanks to "SongVersation," her recently released album.

Fresh off appearances and performances on programming including "Super Soul Sunday" and the BET Awards 13', Arie's album debuted at no.4 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums Chart with 31,000 copies sold Wednesday.

"Her last chart appearance was over four years ago when “Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics” debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the list in 2009. “Cocoa Butter,” the lead single off of “SongVersation,” peaked at No. 20 on the Adult R&B airplay chart," Billboard reports.

In related chart news, Kelly Rowland's album, "Talk A Good Game," took a slide this week, dropping to no.5 on the chart.

With songs like "You Changed" and "Dirty Laundry" included, "Talk A Good Game" sold 25,000 copies in its second week (a 64% drop, according to Billboard).
