Recording artist and reality TV star K. Michelle made her way to the BET Awards 13' over the weekend.
Stopping by BET's 106 & Park pre-show, the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star opened up about the anticipated album, "Rebellious Soul," and the inspiration for songs like "V.S.O.P."
"It's an album for the people. That's just what it is…. It's just an album about life. So, I'm really excited about it and I know you guys are gonna love it," K. Michelle told Bow Wow and Angela Simmons.
Answering a viewer question, K. Michelle went on to say that she pulls a lot of inspiration from women, bad relationships and in some cases, she just wants to 'turn up.'
"I seek inspiration from a lot of places. Like, when I'm around a lot of women and they going through something, then I'll go and write it. But this album is kind of a lot about a bad relationship or you know, me just wanting to turn up. So, a lot of it is based on my life," she shared.
K. Michelle's album, "Rebellious Soul," is due for release August 13.
