Marques Houston to Deliver Marvin Gaye Meets D’Angelo Vibe on New Album

Marques Houston’s music career has reached its second decade, and Houston is only in his thirties. Retirement is far from his plans. He announced plans to drop his sixth solo studio album, ‘Famous,’ this summer after taking a break from music to focus on his acting and film producer career. The demand from fans on social networks caught his attention, prompting him to return to the music studio to create a new record.

"I took some time away from my music to focus on my acting and producing films, but because of my Twitter and Instagram blowing up with all my fans requesting new music, it gave me the motivation to get back in the studio," said Marques Houston.

The first single released was "Speechless," a falsetto record that captures Houston reflecting on finding love at first sight. Houston’s goal for the upcoming album is simple, "I wanted it to be a classic."

As he moves closer to the release date, Houston will perform an unplugged style jam session with his all-female band.
