by July is set to be Mariah Carey's golden month after announcing the release date for her much-anticipated fourteenth studio album. "The New Era Begins.. 7/23 #MC723," wrote Carey on Twitter, confirming the opus' release date for July 23, 2013.
The untitled project, a follow up to 2009's Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel and 2010's Merry Christmas II You, is led by the Miguel-assisted single "#Beautiful," currently sitting at no. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
As previously reported, Carey, who will not return for another season of FOX's American Idol, is also planning a world tour for later this year, and she is set to appear in the upcoming Lee Daniels-directed film, 'The Butler.'
