Alicia Keys is learning how to balance being both a mother and touring recording artist this Spring. Currently on tour with Miguel, the "Girl On Fire" singer spoke of parenting on the road recently, crediting her mom for being by her side, to help with her son, Egypt.
"I can't lie. I've been having some moments. Sometimes in life, with working mothers and working people, there are moments where you have a good flow, and then there are moments when you can't see the end of the day. That's kinda where I am right now," Keys shared with Detroit News over the weekend.
Despite having a few tough moments, Alicia Keys looks forward to the rest of the tour and getting used to having Egypt on the road as much as he's likely getting used to being on the road with his mom.
"Literally, in the morning when (my son) wakes up, I'll have 30 minutes with him. I might see him before he goes to bed, and it does get to you. Fortunately, my mother and (my husband's) dad's mom are out with him now. But it's going to be an adventure. I have no idea how it's going to turn out," said Keys.
Alicia Keys' 'Set This World On Fire' tour runs through this Summer. Tickets for select dates are still available.
