Big things are happening for "American Idol" winner and "Without Me" singer Fantasia.
Not only is she gearing up for the release of her anticipated album, "Side Effects of You," the Grammy winner is prepping for a major promotional tour and concert tour in support of the album.
Starting this week, Fantasia will make rounds on televised programming including "American Idol," "Watch What Happens Live," "The View" and "Good Morning America." She will also sign copies of her CD and visit radio outlets including WBLS and Sirius in addition to performing at the Beacon Theatre in New York on April 27.
As previously reported, Fantasia will return to the "American Idol' stage this Thursday, April 18, where she will perform the single "Lose To Win."
"Fantasia is in a great place personally, mentally and physically. The only thing we can do is go onward and upward," her manager, Brian Dickens, shared in a recent interview.
In related news, plans are in motion for Fantasia to tour this Summer, performing during a possible 15-city plus trek. Dates and venues are to be announced at a later time.
Fantasia's new album, "Side Effects of You," will be made available on Tuesday, April 23.
