Fresh off the hit single "Sex Never Felt Better," R&B group TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank) is ready to hit the road this summer.
Tyrese broke the news during an interview on "The Steve Harvey Morning Show," plugging the upcoming trek and the group's "grown" sound.
"This is the R&B that we've been missing in this game called music. We do this thing for real. We need y'all energy around this song. We're hitting the road this Summer," said Tyrese.
Part of the trio's trek will be an anticipated show at the Essence Music Festival, where they will perform, for the first time, as a group, on the main-stage.
"It's beautiful because I got to grace the main-stage for the first time ever and so I was able to bring out my brother, Tyrese," Tank said of performing at EMF last year. "That was just a small preview and just a taste of what we're going to do."
As for music fans can expect to hear in the coming months, Tyrese says they mean what they say…
"We want to do things that represent the season we are in, in our lives. We grown. We singing to them and actually want them. It's real for us," Tyrese said, pointing out his affinity for female fans.
Watch out for TGT this Summer.
