The OMG Girlz are using their influence to promote healthier lifestyles for their fans. The teen group has partnered up with WAT-AAH!, a line of premium functional water for kids and teens, to promote healthy hydration and continue it’s mission to figh childhood obesity.
WAT-AAH!, is the beverage offspring of Beyonce’s “Let’s Move! Flash workout” campaign and partner of the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF). It has become known for its “cool + health” messaging and has already sponsored the events of many young entertainers including Willow Smith, Diggy Simmons, Cody Simpson, Jacob Latimore, and more. They're bow showcasing their message in a larger way with a campaign featuring some of today’s the brightest young acts, starting with the OMG Girlz.
“WAT-AAH!'s partnership with the OMG Girlz is a natural fit and has been since we began working with them in 2012 during The Scream Tour," said founder and CEO of WAT-AAH!, Rose Cameron. "The OMG Girlz are inspirational to kids – they're fun, energetic, hard working and love drinking water. They understand that as both celebrities and role models, they have a unique opportunity to influence kids to make healthy choices and steer them away from sugary sodas and juices," continued Cameron.
The "Where the Boys At?" group will participate in a range of promotional events for the WAT-AHH!. The partnership kicks off immediately by launching a limited edition OMG Girlz designed bottle with proceeds going to the group’s charity OMGCares. The R&B/pop group will also hit the stage for WAT-AHH!’s “Healthy Hydration in the Nation Tour,” and will celebrate WAT-AAH!’s “Move Your Body” event celebration, which is organized to encourage kids and teens across the country to dance, exercise, and drink healthy. They will also become official judges for the water brand’s national web-based youth talent show “Show Me WAT-YOU-GOT!.” Lastly, the girls will be featured on the brand’s national back to school health and anti-obesity PSA campaign alongside numerous teen celebrities across TV, print, and digital platforms this fall.
