Alicia Keys has not left music, but she is enjoying her role a shoe designer and Creative Director at Blackberry. She recently launched the ‘Freestyle Hi Wedge A. Keys Sneaker,’ her second collection of Reebok sneakers. The line, available exclusively at Nordstrom, has three different colorsways black/pink/yellow/white, tech red/techy red, and white/aviator blue. The kicks features hi wedge and Velcro straps while maintaining aesthetics from Reebok’s 5411.
In addition to her entrepreneurial duties, Keys started a new philanthropic campaign with Greater Than AIDS. The recent initiate is a new public information campaign to reach women in the U.S. about HIV/AIDS.
"When I became aware that women accounted for one in five new HIV infections occurring in the U.S. each year, it shook me to the core and I realized this is an issue we ALL need to pay attention to,” said Alicia Keys.
