Joe’s “I’d Rather Have A Love” Leads Top 10 Most Popular R&B Singles of the Week (2/24/13)

Weight lost and love are topics people will always seek advice on. It is best to take guidance from people that have walked in your path, so it makes sense to listen to Joe on choosing to settle down rather than being a playboy.

The veteran crooner's new single, "I'd Rather Have A Love," is a testimony of "frivolous pleasures" losing to the comfort of a single person’s love. This year marks the twentieth anniversary since the release of Joe's first album 'Everything.' He is expected to drop a new album this year.

Bay Area newcomer Lena Ro caught people's ears this week with "Love Goddess." The record lean towards the alternative R&B style about a psychedelic love encounter over a trippy instrumental. She rounded out the week in the second position on the Most Popular R&B Singles of the Week.

Legendary rapper Big Daddy Kane, vocalist Showtyme and the Lifted Crew band have form Las Supper. "What we tried to do is basically bring back the vintage '60s and '70s soul…but combining it with vintage Hip-hop, like the stuff that I was doing from the beginning of my career…[but] doing it over nothing but live instruments" explained Kane. The lead single "I Believe in Love Again" hits the mark on the groups creative goal.

Spots four through ten are filled with repeaters from last week's Most Popular R&B Singles of the Week.
