Getting back with Rihanna was not easy according to Chris Brown. Opening up about his relationship in an interview published today (Feb. 26), the "Don't Judge Me" and "Wall To Wall" singer says he worked hard to gain forgiveness from the woman he clearly loves.
"She loves me — what can I say? I’m forgiven… but, yes, I worked hard for it," Brown told The Mirror.
That said, Chris Brown admits that hitting Rihanna was the worst thing he has ever done in his entire life.
"That night was the deepest regret of my life… the biggest mistake," Brown said, before claiming that fighting in a relationship is pretty much normal, but sometimes things get out of hand. "Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals."
In related news, Chris Brown was unfazed by Seth MacFarlane's Oscar joke, comparing violence in the movie "Django Unchained" to his past with Rihanna.
"People attack me and criticize me, it happens all the time. But they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me anymore. Other people can judge us but they don’t know anything,” said Brown.
