Janet Jackson and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, are really good at keeping secrets. Her wedding guests and family members are really good too, because she got married in a secret ceremony last Fall and is just now (Feb. 25) confirming the marriage.
Jackson broke the news via Entertainment Tonight, claiming that all rumors surrounding their union are false.
"The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony," the couple said in a joint statement. "Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy. With love, Wissam and Janet"
