R&B singer Avant has some celebrating to do this week. His single "You & I" featuring his favorite collaborator Keke Wyatt secured the no. 1 spot on this week's Billboard Urban AC National Airplay Chart, topping "My Love Is All I Have To Give" by Charlie Wilson and "Adorn" by Miguel, who last week were in the #1 and #2 spots, respectively.
"You & I" appears on Avant's recently released seventh studio album, Face The Music. The set draws inspiration from R&B legends including Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Luther Vandross and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds.
Avant is currently on a promotional tour of Face the Music, wrapping up with shows in Kansas City (March 1), New York City (March 27) and Phoenix (March 29)
