Sammie gifts his fans a personal piece of his life on Valentine's Day in the new song, "Merlot." On the ballad, which is a true story surrounding one of the R&B crooner's heartfelt experiences, Sammie sings about "causing pain" to a female, but he's changing his ways because he's "madly in love" with her.
"I wrote this record based off a true story," says Sammie. "Sometimes it takes a little liquid courage to express the thoughts in which we men suppress during our sober state. So after peeking my limit, I decided to profess my true love for my love interest at the time. "Merlot" derives from that night."
With that said, sip some alcoholic beverage tonight and share your heart with your special someone, if that fails, you can always fall back on some great love making. Blame it on the Merlot!
