With two special tributes planned for Prince in the upcoming months, what other way to let people know you're a legend than releasing new music? This week, the Pop icon unveiled his new website, 20pr1nc3.com, and now he has blessed fans with the silky, pop/rock new funky song "Screw Driver." On the slightly provocative track, the Purple Man croons, "I'm your driver/Your my screw."
As previously reported, Prince will be honored for his contribution to music during an annual concert at Carnegie Hall in March, an event aimed at raising money for music education. Then in May, the Pop icon will be be celebrated at the Billboard Music Awards on May 19 during its live broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter, who will give a rare performance during the televised event, will receive the Icon Award.
