Marsha Ambrosius plays the ultimate ride or die chick in the music video for "Cold War," the first single lifted from her upcoming sophomore album Friends & Lovers. In the clip, inspired by the hit HBO series, The Wire, Ambrosius' fiancé (Michael Kenneth Williams aka Omar) loses his job, and with no other options to maintain their lifestyle, she turns to the streets for some quick paper by dealing cocaine with (Felicia “Snoop” Pearson). It all falls a part in the end and it seems like the fiancé will have to take the heat.
“This video really depicts how far you will go for someone you care about,” states Marsha. “I went to extreme measures to save my love and I clearly did some very illegal things.”
Talk about a rider!
