“American Idol” finalist Jessica Sanchez has plans for a big Spring, including the release of her first single.
The as-yet-untitled track may feature Grammy Award winner Ne-Yo, who is just one of a few songwriters and producers that she has worked with over the last few months.
“I wanted to make it perfect for the fans. I’ve worked in the studio before, but going to that next level with such high producers? It was crazy … working with Ne-Yo. Everything was such a blur and I was just a fangirl the whole time,” Sanchez shared with MTV.
Sanchez has been working on the album since wrapping the celebrated “American Idols Live Tour,” which ran through much of the Summer and Fall. Now that it’s complete, she’s gearing up to actually promote the project….
“This is completely who I am and I’m excited to show it to everybody,” says Sanchez.
While we wait for the single, which is due in February, Sanchez can be seen on “Glee.” As previously reported, she has a several episode arc on the hit show this season.
