Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Tank has officially partnered with CMG Entertainment, a full service multi-media company based in New York city, in a joint venture to create a new developmental division of the label.
“This partnership marks a new chapter for CMG Entertainment” says CMG Entertainment CEO Cisco Rosado. “We are very happy to partner with Tank and we look forward to successful launches with our artists.”
This new division will focus on artist development and production. As of now it will gear its attention solely on two specific artists â Bronx rapper M$G and female rapper Siya. Together Rosado and Tank will oversee the production and development of the two artist’s separate full-length projects.
Tank will take the role as President of this new division, helping to successfully launch and promote the artists’ projects. Once out, these two flagship projects will then eventually lead to more future signings for the label.
On his new position Tanks says, “I am excited to partner with CMG to develop projects on these new artists. We are beginning with artists that are extremely talented and I look forward to their success.”
As of yet neither artist have specific release dates for their pending projects.
