Miguel partnered with Dana Veraldi and Kevin Tekinel of Deer Dana for his first clothing collaboration of custom tee shirts. The designs featured are illustrations of Grace Jones and Sade. Each shirt will be available for sale online at Deer Dana or the Opening Ceremony stores in Los Angeles and New York City. A portion of the sales proceeds will support the Precious Dreams Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports foster children.
The “Adorn” singer is known more for his edgy style; recently he has taken less fashion risk while settling into his personal style during the release of his sophomore album ‘Kaleidoscope Dream.’
Miguel received several Grammy nominations including Best R&B Song, Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album. The award show will be held live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 10, 2013.
