Kelly Rowland Credits Donna Summer For ‘Stab At Dance,’ Performs Tribute

Donna Summer meant a lot to Kelly Rowland and it showed on “VH1 Divas” Sunday night. Just prior to performing an anticipated tribute, Rowland credited the “Just Dance” singer with inspiring her journey into dance, with songs like “When Love Takes Over” and “Commander.”
“Donna is a beacon of light for me. She’s one of the reasons I sing, to be completely honest, and the reason I decided to take a stab at dance music when I did my collaboration with David Guetta.”
