This week, The Weeknd’s debut major-label release Trilogy has debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart. The album (which consists of three discs of previously re-released music from his three mixtapes House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence, along with three new songs) sold 86,000 copies its first week.
The 22-year-old Canadian singer thanked fans through Twitter for their support. “Having large confidence in my fans has yet to fail me. Today is a celebration,” he tweeted.
Not too shabby for an album comprised of mostly re-released material!
