The official winners list is in for the 40th anniversary edition of the American Music Awards.
Following a show filled with memorable performances from Nicki Minaj, Psy (with MC Hammer), Pink, Justin Bieber, Usher and Swizz Beatz, this year’s list of winners includes Beyonce, Usher and Rihanna.
Thanking his fans and industry figures, Usher was the only R&B artist to accept an award televised. His win was for Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist, which he picked up for the third year in a row.
Non televised wins went to Beyonce for Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist and Rihanna for Soul/R&B Album (“Talk That Talk”).
With late figures like Whitney Houston and Dick Clark remembered for their contributions to music and entertainment as a whole, the American Music Awards aired Sunday, Nov. 18 on ABC.
