The American Music Awards (AMA) annually recognizes the best in the music industry. This year, the AMA has announced their list of winners and it includes some of today’s biggest names in music. Three artists who made this impressive list are Usher, Beyonce, and Rihanna. Let’s take a closer look at how these three superstars have achieved success on the AMA Winners List.

Usher is no stranger to awards shows such as the AMA’s; he won his first one back in 2004 for Favorite Male Soul/R&B Artist. He has since gone on to win numerous other awards from various categories including Pop/Rock Album of The Year, Video of The Year, Collaboration of The Year and more! His most recent award was earlier this year when he received an honorary doctorate degree from Berklee College of Music. In addition to being recognized by the AMAs, Usher also has earned himself several Grammy Awards over his career.

Beyonce is another famous entertainer that made the AMA Winners List this year with her hit single “Formation”. She previously held eight records for winning consecutive years throughout her career – a feat that no other artist had ever accomplished before! Beyonce has been nominated five times during this current decade alone which makes her well deserving of recognition from the AMAs. Her latest album “Lemonade” was named Best Urban Contemporary Album in 2017 after debuting at #1 on Billboard 200 chart – further proving why she deserves to be mentioned among those honored by the AMA’s this year.

Finally, Rihanna rounds out our trio of stars with multiple wins under her belt from previous ceremonies. Most recently she took home honors for Single Of The Year (“Work”) while also receiving recognitions for Tour Of The Year, Favourite Female Soul/R&B Artist and others dating all the way back to 2011! With so many successful singles throughout her illustrious career, it’s no surprise that Rihanna continues to make waves within both public opinion polls and award show nominations alike – something that will likely continue far into future generations too.

Notable Achievements

Usher, Beyonce and Rihanna have all made the list of winners at this year’s American Music Awards. This impressive achievement solidifies these three iconic musicians as some of today’s most successful artists.

The accomplishment is especially important in light of their respective careers that span decades, with a huge set of fans across the world. While they may differ in style—Usher being known for his R&B/pop sound; Beyonce’s genre-spanning take on R&B, soul and hip hop; and Rihanna’s chart-topping reggae–dancehall vibes—their success has been widely recognized by award shows like the AMAs.

This crowning moment speaks to the power and influence each artist holds within today’s music industry. It also marks an incredible milestone for Black excellence in music, making it clear that these talented performers will continue to be celebrated for their achievements well into the future.

Record-Breaking Accolades

Notably, Usher has broken the record for most AMAs won by a male artist. His 10 wins puts him in an elite class of musicians who have made their mark on the music industry. Beyonce and Rihanna both achieved incredible milestones as well; each with nine awards to call their own. It’s no coincidence that these three artists have managed to accumulate such impressive accolades over time—each one is incredibly talented and deserving of recognition for all they’ve accomplished musically.

The success of these performers also signals another win for the African American community, which often finds its members underrepresented in award categories across multiple industries. While there are still strides to be taken toward creating more equitable representation among many professions, this victory serves as a reminder that Black excellence can indeed reach new heights when it is given equal opportunities to succeed.

It remains clear then that these amazing artists will continue to make history through their artistry and influence. By achieving yet another remarkable achievement at the 2020 AMA’s, they demonstrate just how powerful great music can truly be.

Conclusion

It’s clear that this year’s American Music Award winners list will go down in history. Three of the industry’s biggest stars – Usher, Beyonce and Rihanna – have made their mark on the awards show with record-breaking accolades.

Usher won an impressive four awards including Artist of the Year, while Beyonce took home two honors for her work as a solo artist and with Jay Z in The Carters. Furthermore, Rihanna was honored with Icon Awards for both her accomplishments in music and philanthropy.

These three artists have certainly earned their place at the top of the music world. Through years of hard work and dedication to their craft, they’ve achieved remarkable success that has only been further solidified by these wins at this year’s AMA ceremony. It just goes to show how far talent and passion can take you!
