The funky songstress Mela Machinko that has blessed tracks on most notably Pharoahe Monch projects is coming out with her opus ‘Hov Said It Best’. Her single, “What You Want Me To Do (I’m Sorry),” is only a taste test for what’s to come from this extremely powerful singer. This single is a fun dedication to the living legend Jay-Z’s feature on Mya’s ‘Best of Me’. Mela uses Jay’s lyrics to give her own spin on the story. This is a perfect example of how to keep it R&B, but still bring in that Hip Hop flavor. It is definitely not absent of Soul with Eric G. of 9th Wonder’s Soul Council producing the track.
