Siedah Garrett – Keep On Lovin’ You (Tribute to MJ’s 25th Anniversary of “Bad”)

Grammy winning singer/songwriter Siedah Garrett releases the music video for her new single “Keep On Lovin’ You,” which serves as a tribute to her friend and mentor Michael Jackson and her answer to their 1987 #1 world wide smash, ” I Just Can’t Stop Loving You.” The new effort arrives today (September 18), the same day as the re-release of the King of Pop’s monumental album BAD, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.

“When Michael and I recorded and performed our duet together, it always felt as if he were singing it just for me,” said Garrett. “I wanted to write an answer, a sort of love letter back to him, that tells the story of how we first met, and how amazing it was to be in his presence and be able to interact with him creatively over the years. This new song expresses my deepest feelings for him, and appreciation for all the personal attention and unbelievable opportunities he afforded me.”

Produced and co-written by DapoTorimiro (Justin Bieber, Brandy, John Legend), “Keep On Lovin’ You” will appear og Garret’s upcoming album, Look Inside Myself, which is slated for release later this year.

Set to be featured in the forthcoming Spike Lee documentary BAD25, Garret duetted with MJ on “IJCSLY” and co-wrote the classic hit, “Man In The Mirror”, the album’s record 5th #1 global hit.
