Alicia Keys took the MTV Video Music Awards platform and used it for some girl power Thursday.
Taking the stage for her first televised performance of “Girl On Fire,” lifted from the anticipated album of the same name, Keys recruited two women that have inspired many in the last year.
Celebrating diversity and talent, Keys drafted both Nicki Minaj and Olympic Gold medalist Gabrielle Douglas.
Following Minaj doing what she does best as a Hip Hop artist, Douglas showed viewers just what she could do as a world class gymnast (watch below).
As previously reported, Keys will be releasing “Girl On Fire” (the album) in November. It is her fifth studio album.
