Tamia Talks Beautiful Surprise, Approached for ‘Basketball Wives’

R&B songstress Tamia is gearing up for a busy August with the release of her anticipated album “Beautiful Surprise.”

Confirming the fact that she will be performing during Tom Joyner’s annual “Family Reunion” in Orlando this August, the talented vocalist also discussed the state of R&B in a recent interview.

“It’s changed a lot from the business aspect, even as an artist and even how we approach from a record selling standing,” Tamia says of today versus when she began her career.

With “Beautiful Surprise” being her second independent release, Tamia says “when you own it, you can do what you want.”
