Mathew Knowles Confirms ‘Two’ Destiny’s Child, Trin-i-tee 5:7 Albums

Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle may be coming back together collectively as Destiny’s Child. In what is unexpected news, Mathew Knowles has confirmed two albums with the first due later this year.
“We still have our joint venture with Sony and in November we’re putting out two Destiny’s Child catalog records with new material. So we’re going to start doing strategic things like that,” Knowles said Friday while promoting current efforts including his new MTV series “Breaking From Above.”
While it is not set in stone, Knowles hopes the group will come together for a reunion tour within the next five years.
“It takes a year of planning to do these tours, but first it starts with the artist wanting to do it. And I think the ladies are still working happily in their solo careers. And I hope in the next five years that there is a reunion tour,” Knowles told Huffington Post. “I think it would be incredible. The hardest thing would be choosing which songs they’re going to do, because we would want to mix it up with solo hits and Destiny’s Child hits. We would have to throw away some number ones from off the set list.”
For fans hopeful of an album with completely new material, that is not a reality right now. Knowles insists the first of the two collections will be “released material with some previously unreleased material.”
In related news, Knowles says a major announcement will accompany the release of Gospel group Trin-i-tee 5:7’s next album.
“They have a new album that’s coming out in the September-October time frame. With that album will be a major announcement,” Knowles confirms.
With both of these announcements being major news, what do you think ? Are you ready for a Destiny’s Child album and new music from Trin-i-tee 5:7 ?
