‘The Notebook’ Helps To End R. Kelly’s Marriage

R. Kelly has successgully written records that play as the soundtrack to individuals love life for over a decade. The Grammy winner is one of the best of his generation at adding powerful words with hypnotic music to create an unmatched sound. However, the Pied Piper revealed something that may have caused his ex-wife to never write back.

Romantic films are a source of inspiration and favorite of Kells’. He credits actor Ryan Gosling and movie “The Notebook” for helping him to analyze his relationship and move on. The R&B legend revealed the impact of the film on his love life in his new memoir Soulacoaster, “As the film credits started to roll, I couldn’t move. I burst into tears. People walking past me patted me on the back, trying to console me. ‘The Notebook’ was beautiful, and I was crying because its hero and heroine had died together.”

He added: “I was also crying because I remembered a Valentine’s Day — when a helicopter dropped a rainfall of roses — that had come and gone … My marriage had died. And there was nothing I could do to bring it back.”

The account offers a softer side of R. Kelly, who is known for his playboy and sex filled records.
