Swizz Beatz has been working hard with Alicia Keys on her forthcoming fifth studio album. Calling the effort “timeless,” Beatz says fans will be impressed by the “genius” that is his wife.
“She’s in a whole new creative place. It’s a new day for music. It’s a new day for her spiritually and mentally,” Beatz said Sunday.
Following the first song, titled “A New Day,” Beatz says what fans have heard thus far is just the beginning.
“The concept is celebrating life, and that’s just the beginning of it. People are going to see how many parts of that record are going to come alive,” he tells Zap2it.
Led by “A New Day,” Keys fifth studio album is due later this year.
