She sings, acts, and is arguably the most successful spokesperson for Weight Watchers. What else can Jennifer Hudson conquer? Designing clothing, maybe? Bingo. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the multi-faceted diva will soon add fashion designer to her list of accomplishments, designing especially for QVC.
Hudson’s infamous 80-pound weight loss gained her an endorsement with Weight Watchers, and now clothing manufacturers. The line is planning to feature women’s clothing from sizes 6 (her current size) to 16 (her former size). She tells WWD, “I’ve been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it. But I wanted the clothes to be where any girl could wear it – no matter what size you are – and you could feel comfortable in it.”
The fashion line already has a few designs already priced. Expect a sheer maxiskirt for $75, $50 leggings, a $74 dress, and a $170 coat.
Other celebs who design for the home shopping channel are the Kardashians, Heidi Klum, Nicole Richie, and Rachel Zoe.
J Hud’s fashion collection debut is set to air Sept 10th on QVC. See below for some of the line’s looks.
