“Looking 4 Myself,” Usher’s seventh studio album, has made a strong debut on the UK Albums chart.
In a three way battle for the top spot, The Official Charts Company confirms just 1,000 copies separated the “Scream” singer from landing the top spot.
Debuting at no.3 on the UK Albums Chart Sunday, Usher’s “Looking 4 Myself” came in just behind Amy MacDonald’s “Life In A Beautiful Light” and Gary Barlow & Commonwealth’s “Sing.”
“Looking 4 Myself” is also set for a strong debut in the U.S.. Sales stateside will be released Wednesday.
In related news, Trey Songz’s “Heart Attack” is climbing the UK Singles Chart. The song is up to no.28 this week.
