Usher is poised to be king of the Billboard 200 again.
The BET Award winner’s anticipated album, “Looking For Myself,” will debut atop the chart next week, according to projections released Wednesday.
Moving between 120,000 and 130,000 copies, the album is likely to top the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart as well.
While this is good news for Usher, this will be a low start for him. His last album, “Raymond V. Raymond (2010) debuted with 329,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
It is not his lowest start though. “My Way” debuted with 67,000 copies sold in 1997.
“Looking For Myself” features the singles “Scream” and “Climax.” Usher is also slated to perform at the BET Awards Sunday, July 1.
