Jennifer Hudson is ready for the studio. Following her NAACP Image Award win for the sophomore album “I Remember Me,” the “Think Like A Man” and “I Got This” singer has confirmed plans to record new music this Summer.
“I’m getting started on my third album this summer, and I have a few films in the works,” Hudson said on the red carpet at Samsung’s Hope For Children Gala earlier this week. “I’m now just getting back out there and into my rhythm again, so one day at a time.”
As previously reported, Jennifer Hudson will soon begin filming for a new movie titled “Lullaby” as well.
Also starring Amy Adams, Garrett Hedlund and Terrence Howard, Lullaby focuses on a son and his estranged father.
Hudson’s last album, “I Remember Me,” featured songs like “Where You At ?” and “No One Gonna Love You.”
