X Factor USA finalist Rachel Crow will be on the move this summer. Following her national television debut on Nickelodeon’s Fred: The Show, Crow will release an EP album and hit the road for a North American tour.

Self-titled, Crow’s EP will be made available via digital providers June 26 with five songs produced by hit makers including Toby Gad (Beyonce, Fergie), Matt Squire (One Direction) and Jonas Jeberg (Pussycat Dolls).

“The release features the powerful song, “Mean Girls,” which Rachel co-wrote along with producer Toby Gad. Written after just three days in the studio, the lyrics of “Mean Girls” speak to rising above social pressures and celebrating individuality,” reports Columbia/Syco.

“I really want [“Mean Girls”] to not only inspire kids who have been bullied, but I also hope to inspire the kids that do the bullying to stop that behavior,” says Crow.

Following the EP release, Rachel Crow will hit the road for a trek with popular teen group Big Time Rush.
Kicking off July 5, the trek will run through mid-August with stops in Columbus, OH; Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, NV; Pittsburgh, PA; and Boston, MA.
