Kelis Plots New Album For Later This Year

Kelis is gearing up for the release of her next studio album, the follow up to 2010’s ‘Fleshtone.’ According to her management’s website, the set is due this fall and will feature production from Skream, BURNS, Tom Neville, Dan Black and Caspa.

Skream recently spoke out about working with the “Bossy” singer on the upcoming project stating, “I just had a record for Kelis, a UK garage record. It’s getting a UK release so I guess it’ll get an American release. Its called ‘Distance’.” The producer also says Kelis is working on delivering a new sound.

The single “Distance will be released this summer.
