Nelly Furtado Reveals ‘The Spirit Indestructible’ Artwork

Nelly Furtado is back and preparing for the release of her much anticipated fifth studio album, ‘The Spirit Indestructible’ on June 19th. With roughly six weeks left, the Canadian singer-songwriter has unveiled the album artwork for the project, featuring her slender profile with her hair tied up into a tight braid, complimented with a purple backdrop in the background.

When Furtado first released the cover art on her official Twitter page, she explained the reasoning of the simplicity of the cover and the colors. “It’s light in color so that it’s black-sharpie-ready for when I sign cd’s for the beautiful fans,” she tweeted.

She then followed up by posting the cover for the deluxe version of the album, which will feature 18 tracks, which you can check out below.

The album is being led by the single “Big Hoops (Bigger The Better),” which is currently available on iTunes. The full video is set to officially premiere on Monday, May 7th on VEVO.
