Grammy Award winner Bryan-Michael Cox and accomplished producer/songwriter Patrick “j.Que” Smith has started a new company to spread their creative talents. One of the initial projects the pair is working on is budding singer K. Michelle, who Cox recently confirmed joined Mona Scott’s “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta.”
Cox is working to help develop a new crop artist including Leah LaBelle, Brandon Hines, Gotham City, and Mylah. “I’m interested in working with new artists now because we have to develop the new Usher’s and the new Mariah’s and the new Mary’s,” Cox told YouKnowIGotSoul. “These artists are legends and their history is already set in stone. Now we have to create the new artists, the new legends, the new stars. That’s really where my head is at.”
In addition to searching for untapped talent, he is refining his skills by attending “Berkley for composition and arranging.”
