Usher’s Climax Debuts Atop UK R&B Singles Chart

Usher has taken over the UK singles charts. Not only debuting at no.4 on the mainstream UK Singles Chart, the “Looking For Myself” singer has debuted at no.1 on the UK R&B Singles tally.

Unseating Nicki Minaj, who had topped the Urban/R&B chart with “Starships,” Usher’s “Climax” rocketed straight to no.1 Sunday.

Taken from his forthcoming album, “Looking For Myself,” “Climax” is also doing well on the U.S. Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart where it sits at no.2.

In related news, John Legend’s “Ordinary People” has re-entered the UK Urban/R&B chart at no.10 this week. Both Kanye West (Mercy, no.23) and Maxwell (This Woman’s Work, no. 25) also debut strong on the same chart.
