On “Count Me Out,” the Florida native knows her only choice is to move on, singing, “Gave you three strikes now baby this is number four/staring my body as I walk out the door/Now you having problems with me wanting to leave.”
The track’s ivory keys and string arrangement bring to life the agony of a deteriorating love. Ywada’s voice seems to tremble as she pushes out the words that will free her from a broken bond.
